Draft EIS

Skagit County has prepared a draft EIS. The draft EIS includes information about the proposed project, its potential environmental impacts, and what could be done to avoid or minimize those impacts. The draft EIS is provided for review and comment by interested parties. Submit your comments on the draft EIS by May 8, 2017.

For an introduction to the draft EIS, please visit the Online Open House (available until May 8, 2017). Here are a few tips to help you navigate the document:

  • Read the EIS Summary for an overview of the project, resources studied, and key findings
  • Review the table of contents to identify particular chapters or sections of interest 
  • Look to the appendices for more detailed results and analyses
